I work with organisations, funders, networks and brands asking ambitious questions about change, resilience, governance, place and their role within wider systems.

My work ranges from strategic inquiry and research to evaluation, programme design and cross-sector convening, often working in the space interfacing knowledge and action.

Selected projects 2025 + 2026

  • I led on the co-design and facilitated an international knowledge exchange exploring what enables innovation to become genuinely inclusive. Bringing together technology founders, researchers, policymakers, investors, public services and people with lived experience, I helped design an accessible environment in which different forms of expertise could shape the conversation and learning. I developed participatory methods to surface insights across inclusive education, transport and infrastructure, and independent living, before synthesising the exchange into a research-led report. The work identified cross-cutting conditions for inclusive innovation, including lived experience as expertise, relational knowledge exchange, implementation infrastructure and accountability, and explored how knowledge exchange can help move innovation towards meaningful action.

  • I returned as Emcee for the EPSRC IAA Impact Festival, helping create coherence and energy across a programme bringing together researchers, universities, funders, innovation organisations and knowledge exchange partners. Alongside hosting the day, I oversaw the design and delivery of Networking Around Impact, working with co-facilitators to create structured opportunities for people to move beyond familiar networks and make unexpected connections across disciplines and institutions. Impact rarely happens through individual actors alone. It depends on creating the conditions for ideas, relationships and opportunities to meet, and sometimes on making space for the unexpected spark.

    A Newfoundland term for the live spark or burning ember that jumps from a fire — quick, fleeting, but capable of catching. For me, it captures something essential about convening: collective change often begins with an unexpected connection, an idea exchanged, or a spark that finds somewhere to land.
